Was not impressed... Gyro seemed to be processed meat and was expensive. Onion rings were terrible. Chicago style dog was OK but WAY OVERPRICED!!

Get the lamb Gyro BOOM!!! Its actually 2 sandwich's, full of flavor & just tender as hell!! The Italian combo is on point also!

Italian beef is perfect! Obviously get the hot peppers and ask for mozzarella melted on it. I wish their melted cheese for cheese fries was better - but probably for the best...

The rating is for service only. We walked in about 40 minutes til closing for takeout; the cashier was nice and friendly but we didn't see the cook/owner. The gyros are smaller than what I'm used to especially for the price. The taste of the gyros was a 3 star rating; the sauce was bland and the meat did not taste fresh. I didn't finish mine, so I chopped it up and made a hash lol. If we're in the area again, we'll go earlier in the day to see if the gyros taste better/fresher.

Beautiful restaurant! Heard that there was a McDonald's here before they definitely changed the place up! Decor, furniture, EVERYTHING was gorgeous! Waitress was very sweet and attentive too! Tried the chicken skewers very tasty and cooked perfectly. Also had the tabbouleh, which was rather bland and uninspiring. Also it was molded into a funny shape, which turned me off a bit.The prices are also very affordable, given the ambiance and location. Less than $10 a dish for dinner!

If you like Italian beef this is the place in Knox County with out the trip to Chicago.

I tried out this place when it first opened. It was pretty good. The fries had a nice crispy finish. So, a dozen weeks later I go back. The people were friendly, but the service was disorganized. First I had to remind them to take my money. Then my order was wrong and over charged me. They came back with yet another order missing ingredients. After shorting me for the second time I took the loss and walked. The food was just as terrible as the service. The Gyro was full of burnt pieces. The fries were cold and undercooked. -5 stars

What i orders was good a regular gyro

Just left. $10.54 for gyro platter. Lots of meat. Unfortunately, about half was gray and moist, some was perfect, some pieces kinda both. Not much flavor for being Kronos. The tsitanitza was oddly sweet. But ok. The fries were light yellow, not crispy, but cooked through. The owners seemed nice. I was the only one eating at the restaurant between 11:30-12:30 at lunch. A couple pick ups. They serve no other Greek food. They have wide selections of burgers and Chicago dogs. I was hungry for a gyro. It was ok.

Went there to try the Italian Beef and Gyros sandwich. They were okay. The beef was brisket with decent flavor, the gyros was Kronos. There were posters saying as much. Service was fine. I got my order to go, and just as well. It smelled like they just sprayed for bugs. It overall wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. Your experiences may be different.

Great local Greek food! Large portions for the $$

First off, I would like to say that I have been to pretty much all of the food establishments in Galesburg and have never felt unwelcome until coming here. My girlfriend and I have been to King Gyro a couple of times and each time the owner/cook is uninviting and not personable. This last visit he made a mistake on our order, and after the woman at the register informed him he slammed our food onto the counter apparently upset. When owning a restaurant it is your duty to provide quality service to paying customers, without being rude. Please do better, the Knox community talks..not good for business.

Gyros are good but the fried mushrooms are yum😋

Their Gyros are DELICIOUS!! I can't speak for anything else because I get them every time! It's a quaint little diner style restaurant that seems clean!

Favorite place in Galesburg! Best gyros around! New owners now, gyros still awesome, but they changed the breaded mushrooms... I won't order them again!

Very friendly folks and I enjoyed the menu selection.

Decent food but it is hard to communicate with workers in English. It took several tries to order a hamburger and fries. We didn't get our drinks until we had our food. They serve gyros, hamburgers, fish sandwiches, and hotdogs, and some appetizers. The fries are huge, crinkle cuts and had been cooked in the same oil as the fish or the oil was old. Prices are a little high for what you get.

My parents and I went there for breakfast we were very happy with the quality of food I'll definitely be going back dad and I have the sausage gravy and biscuits hash browns mom had pancakes and eggs and we all had an endless cup of coffee

The previous owners were not very personable I sincerely hope the new owners do better becausethe food and environment are wonderful

Fantastic,authentic Greek gyros! Friendly and courteous service. I will be going there from now on for my gyros fix. I suggest to anyone that wants and awesome gyros sandwich is to go and try it for yourself.
